Agent access
Guardrails: how much your agents decide alone
Guardrails are the contract between you and every agent that touches your store — the built-in AI team and any external agent alike.
Four categories, each with its own level:
- Refunds — who decides on a refund claim.
- Pricing — price changes and discounts.
- Marketing — promotions and campaigns.
- Content — product copy and imagery changes.
Four levels, per category:
- 0 — Ask first: every action waits for your approval.
- 1 — Notify after: the agent acts, you're informed immediately.
- 2 — Auto for small actions: routine/low-value actions are automatic; bigger ones still queue.
- 3 — Full auto: the agent owns the category.
Below your threshold, nothing fails silently — the agent files a request in the Approval queue and waits. You approve, reject or modify with one click.
A sane starting point: refunds at 0–1 while you learn your return patterns, content at 2, pricing and marketing wherever your comfort sits. You can change levels anytime in Dashboard → Agent access — changes apply to the next action, instantly.
