Noir is black and white, and nothing else — no muted colour, no sepia compromise. The subjects are ordinary on purpose: steam rising off a city grate, a spiral staircase photographed straight up, brutalist concrete catching one hard edge of light, a single vase on a bare ledge. Removing colour turns all of it into geometry. That is the whole argument of the shop. Monochrome is the easiest art to live with long term. It never fights a sofa, never dates itself, and looks expensive in a plain frame. Three prints in a line down a hallway is the classic move and it still works. A few frames also run as phone cases, where high contrast survives being small. Everything is printed to order. Three below: steam over a grate, a spiral staircase, and light striping a stairwell. Shades of grey, all of them intentional.
